Cushendall a small pretty and friendly village at the heart of the Glens with many shops,
restaurants a golf course, sailing boat club, Sea fishing, public houses and is a designated
conversation area. As well as natural beauty there is a variety of Golf courses in the area,
one in Cushendall one mile away as well as a Sailing boat club where you can learn to sail.
The area is great for Children with two top class play areas for the smaller kids or many
activities such as sailing, fishing, golf… for the older ones.
Just ¼ from the cottage is Layde Church and the cliff coastal walk that takes you to
Cushendall village. Don’t visit Brae Cottage without taking this walk or visiting Cushendun
beech and area just 3 ½ miles away.
